The airports are more hectic the day before Thanksgiving isn’t merely one of the biggest travel day of the year on the roads.
15 flights have been scheduled in and out Wednesday in the Augusta Regional Airport.
Representatives say they do not necessarily see a massive increase in passengers but they usually see a audience.
“For example, Augusta is typically a heavy small business market. Throughout the holidays in addition to Christmas we will tend to see more kids leisure passengers. Their needs are quite different than the business travelers,” explained Herbert Judon, Augusta Regional Airport’s Executive Director.
Extra employees were Wednesday in the airport to be sure passengers were well taken care of. It is recommended that you arrive for your trip one hour and a half an hour , if you’re traveling from AGS for the holidays.
